Ryan and Patricia have officially moved to Tsaile :o( Ryan is now the Chief Optometrist at Tsaile Health Center (Congratulations!!).
Most of you think Dave and I live in a remote location in Chinle with a population of ~5,600..
well... Tsaile is even more remote, with a population of 1078. The main campus of Dine College, where we are taking our moccasin making class, is also located here.
See their blog (I have linked to it on our blog as well as on my 30th birthday post) for pictures of the Chuska mountains they now live at the foot of. 1000 feet higher in elevation than Chinle, there are pine forests, lakes and snow. We are jealous of their new playground but look forward to many days of exploring with them :o)
Yes, it is only 30 miles down the road...and I know we will be seeing them often.... but I will really miss impromptu dinners, backyard fires and walks/runs around the compound with the dogs. I guess now it will just have to be biking, hiking, and hanging out in the Chuskas, weekend sleepovers and blueberry pancake breakfasts :o)
From our front yard, we can see the Chuskas on the horizon. So, when I really miss you guys, at least I can walk outside and know you're not too far away.

aw man, this makes me sad that you're so sad about it....but like you say, we're only 30 miles away! i will also miss the impromptu stuff, but there will be new fun adventures up thisaway. thanks for the welcome and thanks again for all your help (and cooking!) with the move!
